Petition statement

We need to make the public aware of just hoe demeaning the two employes at the Union Square Manhattan Barnes and Noble are, a man and a woman worker, both go around and try to boss people around with their control freak tendencies. This is unacceptable and this petition is to tell Barnes and Noble to retrain these two employees.

Spread the word and regain customer human rights. You deserve to be treated like a human being because you are born human.

In one instance I was at the Barnes and noble in Union Square NY with my sis reading while a male employee with glasses and a beard harasses the F out of these kids in the kid section

In another instance

This is aboout the customer service at the B&N location in Union Square, NY. There is a male store associate who worked in the Gardening books section on the uppermost floor was observed committing unusual behavior during store hours. This man was observed committing almost criminal behavior on Thursday July 26, 2012 at around 7:35pm. In several instances this person would overreact to small things, like a customer sitting on the floor reading, or if a customer rests her bag on a table. I saw this male store associate tapping his finger at a woman who put her bag on a table, he asked if it was hers, when she refused to answer him and ignore him (she perhaps knows he is playing games, because obviously the bag is hers, and he saw her put it there), he repeatedly, and aggravatedly presented the same question over and over again as if to tyrannically annoy her, and when she still ignored him, he lost his temper, made a few brusque remarks and followed her around the store as she moved away from him. He must have frightened her off. Very fear inducing experience for any customer who simply wants to read her books.

The tyrant male associate has short brown to blonde hair

It was not very busy and there weren't many customers on that floor when I noticed the man doing this, so his behavior is inexcusable, it's not due to stress or any external influence, it is perhaps his inability to function as a human being that is allowing his darkest impulses to take control of him, and comelling this man to lash out aggressively at customers in Barnes and Noble. Your best suggestion from all your customers is that you fire all stressed-out and burned out emloyees and hire a new batch of fresh faces, reeat the cycle. You can always give them leave time and have the return when they have recovered and are ready to work with a smiling face. This condition your emloyees are suffering from is called "stone-face syndrome", that is when they lose all compassion for others and their lowest impulses control their behavior towards cusotmers. This is absoluteno way to handle your public image to the world in the hub of the economic powerhouse of the United States in the middle of New York city.

This man has to be stopped before he does any more damage to the store and the neighborhood's appeal to outsiders and tourists from other states. We don't want people from the midwest coming to nyc to live here and then move out because they think it's too rough. Can you please take care of this situation for us? I'm sure all of your customers would appreciate not having their curious spirit crushed, or their day ruined by such nonsense your employees are dishing out at the customers who visit the store.

The 73-year-old was looking for gifts for his two grandsons in an Barnes & Noble store when he got a rude tap on the shoulder: It seems a creepy female customer told store officials she was “uncomfortable” that a man was in the children’s section unaccompanied by any minor.

In another instance

Barnes and Noble Female Employee was observed harassing customers while on job duty in the Union Square New York branch location

There is this creepy controlling mature female employee running about in the games and toys section posing an inconvienience to a group of customers on Thursday July 26, 2012 at around eight PM. She approached a small group of customers and commanded them to get up from th efloor around the six or so tables, because the floor around those tables are reserved for children. However I saw many adults sitting around the same tables earlier, and there were no signs of any children nearby, and the store was closing in less than an hour so I find her excuse at getting cutomers to do something they don't want to do, frankly a little disturbing.

She just stares and corners people in the most creepy way. she is like in her late 40s or 50s, has brown hair. She always wears a skirt and wears glasses that hang on her nose.

Spread the word and regain customer human rights. You deserve to be treated like a human being because you are born human.

Barnes and Noble should save your money on paying staff to harass people, then you might have more customers at your stores.

These employees act creepy and has to stop
