Petition statement

Western Digital for many years was a leader and produced high quality storage devices. This has changed to the point that they are lovingly referred to as WD: "Wrong Drive", "Wrecked Data" or my favorite "Will Die". While their warranty process is pretty much flawless and quite fast. You have these days a 60/40 chance of getting a bad drive right "out of box" in return, and have to waste more time dealing with the process. WDC's quality control is obviously out of control, and the corporations leadership in this area is spending to much time on the golf coarse. Any drives I get new in machines I purchase I replace right off and sell on eBay for 60% of what they normally sell for.
